Jack, Liverpool, has spent 3 years as part of Team Pink with 2 years as chair and one as secretary. During this time, he was involved in progressing the SSAGO Strategy and fostering links with international student scout and guide organisations. He has also co-chaired Rally of Games in 2022 and been involved in SSAGO Policy fixers, restarting SSAGO support and establishing the transport project. He has been chair and treasurer of LUSSAGO. He had a huge role in running the Olympic Park Challenge at the World Scout Jamboree in Korea in 2023 alongside SAGGA members. Outside of SSAGO, Jack is an explorer leader in Liverpool and, at a national level, part of the 14-24 redesign project.
Jack has been SSAGO chair for 2 years and was SSAGO secretary the year before that. During this time, Jack has supported all members of team pink in their roles and built up SSAGO's relationships with Scouts and Girlguiding. He has also carried the SSAGO Strategy from its inception when he was secretary and made sure it is kept relevant to SSAGO. This has improved how SSAGO runs day to day.
Jack also co-chaired Rally of Games in 2022 and supported CentenaRally committee in 2023 as well as assisting with Team Pink Rally.
Jack has been heavily involved in a number of SSAGO projects. He has helped to restart the SSAGO Support project with a group of SSAGOers attending Chamboree later this year. He also helped establish the Transport project this year. He was also chair of the policy fixers project before he joined team pink.
Jack has also supported SSAGO's international presence by being the key contact between SSAGO and other national student scout and guide organisations. This has lead to events like Nasc which was a collaboration with the Irish Rovers and Irish students attending rallies. Whilst attending the Scout Moot in Portugal in 2025, he took time to support the International Student Scouting team in spreading the word about student scouting internationally.
As part of the International Service Team at the World Scout Jamboree in Korea in 2023, Jack ran the Olympic Park Challenge alongside a number of SAGGA members. This event was put together in 48 hours and formed a core part of the UK contingent programme in Seoul and helped to promote SSAGO to almost 1000 young people from across the UK.
He has also contributed at a club level being both Chair and Treasurer of LUSSAGO and supporting the relationship between LUSSAGO and Merseyside scouts.
Outside of SSAGO, Jack is an explorer leader at a unit in Liverpool and helps out with camps and nights away at a group in Cheshire. He is also part of the national 14-24 redesign project and has helped develop a governance proposal for the new programme. As part of this, he has visited a number of explorer units to help them test the new programme.
